We welcome questions and want to ensure that relevant information is provided to assist you in making sure that wishes are carried out. We can assist you in making arrangements for burial, transportation, and cremation services.
Burial - Whether you prefer traditional burial or entombment in a mausoleum the staff at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary can work with you to create a tribute tailored to the individuality of your loved one. Funeral services may be held at your place of worship or at the Poway-Bernardo Mortuary Chapel.
Cremation - Cremation is an ancient process which is preferred by many families today. If desired by a family, cremation may be simple, but as well offers many of the same service options as traditional burial. Ceremonies may be held prior to or after the cremation itself. Cremated remains may be interred in a cemetery, taken to a family's home, or scattered at sea.
Transportation - On occasion death occurs while one is traveling away from home. The staff at Poway-Bernardo mortuary is expert in providing assistance during these circumstances. We can also assist in providing transportation arrangements within the United States and throughout the world.
Ceremonies held prior to a burial or cremation are important. A funeral or memorial service provides a place for family and friends to gather for support, to acknowledge the death, and to reminisce. It provides a time to celebrate a life, acknowledge accomplishments, and helps to create a focal point from which the healing process can begin.
