Ownership

Poway-Bernardo Mortuary was founded in 1967 and purchased by Bill Comer in 1977. It was during this time that the mortuary became a fixture in Poway and North San Diego County. The ownership of Poway-Bernardo Mortuary has continued within the Comer family since its purchase in 1997 by Carl and Phyllis Comer the son and daughter-in-law of Bill Comer.
