Alphonse Ignatius Warczakowski passed away in Poway, CA on January 12, 2025.  He was 91 years old.  Al was born February 1, 1933, in Jersey City, NJ to Joseph and Genevieve Warczakowski.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree, Al joined the United States Marine Corps.  He retired after 30 years as a Colonel.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Joan of San Diego; children Joe (Joann) Warczakowski of Oceanside, CA; Lydia Warczakowski-Berryhill (Artie Berryhill) of Texas; Monica Bailey of Sparks, NV; Alicia (Michael) Thompson of Joplin, MO; David (Anita) Warczakowski of Poway, CA and Carolyn (Dave) Roberts of Pt. Loma, CA; 9 grandchildren Sarah, AJ, Brianna, Andrea, Michael, Austin, Caitlin, Christin and Ryan; great-grandchildren Gavin, Payton, Owen, and Carson.
