Anna Mae Gowenlock, 91, of Poway, CA, passed away on February 18, 2026 after a brief illness.

Anne was born on June 26, 1934 to Albert and Sophie Harvey in Philadelphia, PA the second child of eight children. After graduating high school, she joined the Navy and met her future husband of 67 years, Curtis Gowenlock. While her husband was often at sea, she raised her family of four sons and one daughter. In her "free" time, she volunteered as a teacher's aide at the local school.

Anne was a dedicated sports fan and enjoyed watching Padres and Aztecs games both on TV and in person with her husband, Curt.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, Curt, and son, Michael. Left to cherish her memory are her children, David (Linda), Richard (Colleen), Debra (John), and Curtis (Lynn); grandchildren Caitlin, Erin, Gena, CJ, Sean, and Abi and great grandchildren, Charlotte, Madison, Micheal and Amari.

Funeral service with military honors will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on March 20, 2026 at 1:15.
