Benny Vincent Kunukkasseril, 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved husband, Vincent; her son, Xavier; her daughters, Dr.Merin and Eilin; along with her cherished grandchildren.

Born on January 26,1947 in, Kerala India, to Surphina Louis Pullikathara and Louis Padamadan of Kerala, India, Benny grew up in a faith- filled home, grounded in daily rosary and family prayer. Her parents, who deeply loved and trusted the Lord, helped to build St. Anthony's Parish in Chettikad, ensuring the community could grow in faith and the family could attend daily Mass. St. Anthony's stands as a lasting symbol of the rich heritage of faith passed down through generations.

Benny married Vincent Kunukkasseril on June 19, 1967, and they recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. Together, they built a wonderful life centered around their family. Benny's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. She expressed her love through acts of service, whether as a devoted homemaker, an excellent cook, or an enthusiastic gardener.

Benny is preceded in death by her siblings, Anthony, William, and Joseph. She is survived by her husband, Vincent; her siblings, Stella and Matthew; her children, Xavier, Dr.Merin, and Eilin; her husband Greg Friedman, and her grandchildren, Kirin, Kallie, Evan, Vance, Grace, Luke, Adam, and Kate.

A Vigil service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, at San Rafael Parish, 17252 Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92128. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10 AM, at San Rafael Parish. Benny will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102. The family invites all to an Indian lunch following the burial in the Parish Hall, Rooms A & B at San Rafael Parish.
