Beth Anne Juskalian Ackerman, born Oct 4, 1966 in Columbus, OH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2023.  She was surrounded by her family and friends at the time of her passing.

Beth Anne is survived by her son Edward W. "Eddie" Ackerman II, her parents Berge and Johanna (Aschinger) Juskalian, her brother and sister-in-law Fritz and Marianne (Hyland) Juskalian and nephews Peter (Anna-grace) Juskalian, John Juskalian and Mark Juskalian.

Beth Anne was a courageous, humble warrior.  She started her battle with cancer at the age of 4 and fought through numerous cancers over the course of her life.  She referred to these cancers as "the monster that showed its ugly head."  Beth Anne credits the Lord for bringing her through every surgery and every treatment.  Beth Anne also credits her son Eddie who has been by her side through it all with great love and care.

She loved horses, cats and dogs.  Beth Anne often said that her horses gave her strength to live on.  They gave her peace and comfort as she lovingly cared for them.  Her primary comforter for the last 22 years was her rescue horse, Sugar.  Beth Anne worked as a veterinary assistant for over 30 years at Rancho Mesa Animal Hospital.

Beth Anne is known and loved by all who received her warmth and care.  She had an open heart and open door to anyone in need of comfort.  She has been a mother figure to many over the years.

Her family is forever grateful for the care of the nurses and doctors at Kaiser Permanente over the last 39 years.

A reception will be held at The Mickey Cafagna Community Center in Poway, CA on April 16, 2023 from 3 to 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Nashville, TN.
