Betty Nan Leake passed away 8-2-19 in Encinitas California

She was born 12-16-1934 in Hochheim Texas. Betty had her master's degree from Edward University, and owned the florist shop Watch it Grow.  She was an avid painter and artist but she felt her greatest accomplishment was her children and family.

Betty is survived by her four children: Debby Barr Langbehn, Cathy Barr, Todd Barr, and Christopher Barr and her 8 grand children and 11 great grand children and 3 nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her father Theodore Leake and mother Lettie Crawford, her sister Elsa Leake Brown, her brother Earnest Leake and niece Theodore Leake.

As a Christian she is awaiting the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. She wrote these words to her family and friends… "Death has no sting, for my love and spirit remain with my family. Although my physical ashes remain in our heritage cemetery in Hochheim, my soul soars beyond the bounds of earth and universe into the arms of God" – Betty Leake
