Cassandra Jean Galus (residing in Poway, CA) passed away in Escondido, CA on January 4, 2019.  She was born in Paterson, NJ to Frank & Mary Galus on September 22, 1943.  She was 75 years old.

Cassandra worked as a Tax Assessor for the Town of Montgomery, NY and Town of Goshen, NY for approximately 25 years before retiring.  She was a member of the Institute of Assessing Officers (IAO). After retiring she had moved to Poway, CA. Cassandra enjoyed photography, painting participating in the Del Mar County Fair art shows and teaching painting to her neighborhood children.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori Ann Zepp & Steve Rosenberg of Brooklyn, NY; son and daughter-in-law David & Holly Zepp of Poway, CA; brother and sister-in-law Frank & JoAnn Galus of Lexington, KY; and sister Geraldine Ryan of Saugerties, NY; and grandchildren Damon, Lyndon & Brian.
