Charlene Joyce (Shaw) Wilson passed away on November 28, 2021. She was born in Montrose, Iowa on August 24, 1940 to John William Shaw and Jessie Iola (Marshall) Shaw. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Larry Wilson, parents, brother William Frank Shaw, sisters Sandra Jean (Shaw) Wray and Violet Lorraine Shaw.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol Lee (Wilson) Somerville (Dave) and Jeffrey Lawrence Wilson (Kimberley); six grandchildren - Robert John Christina (Angel), Rachael Somerville, Shane Somerville, Cierra Wilson, Zachary Borchers and Rachel Borchers; and three great grandchildren Brayden Jensen, Camden Christina and Helena Diaz.

Charlene and Larry were married on June 30, 1959 and moved to California after Larry graduated college.  Being a homemaker was a fulltime job for Charlene.  Her children kept her very busy and she was always involved with their activities.

One of the family's favorite activities was camping, whether it be boating at Lake Havasu or Lake Shasta or in the desert riding dirt bikes.  Charlene could have the family ready to go at a moment's notice.

In her later years, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren/great grandchildren and sitting down with a good book.

A memorial service will be held at Poway Bernardo Mortuary on Friday, December 10, 2021.
