Charles John Koppa passed away in Poway, CA on September 10, 2023. He was 83 years old. Charles was born July 2, 1940 in Wausau, WI to Philip & Julia Koppa.

Charles studied business administration and worked in the real estate field for more than 20 years. He was most recently an investigator. An avid follower of politics and current events, he was never at a loss for words to share his thoughts. He enjoyed cooking chili for family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Jane Koppa of San Diego, CA, Christine (John) Hart of Lakeside, CA, and Julie Bautista of Prunedale, CA; sisters Janice Krebsbach of Saginaw, MI and Vicki (Jack) Peroutka of Wausau, WI; grandchildren Ashley, Daniel, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Christopher; great-grandchildren Jackson and Lila; and his partner Julie Adams.

A celebration of his life will be held in the clubhouse of his residential community, 4650 Dulin Road in Fallbrook on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 12:30pm.
