Consuelo San
Pedro
February 20, 1933 – January 23, 2026
In Loving Memory of Consuelo "Connie" San Pedro
Consuelo "Connie" San Pedro (our Mama | Mamang), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, auntie and friend, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026.
Born in Manila, on February 20, 1933, she was lovingly adopted by Gregoria "Goya" and Francisco Polintan as a baby. She was raised by her "Inay" (Goya) with the constant support of her Tia Tola and Tia Aida. Connie grew up with a strong sense of faith, with her devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, St. Jude, St. Martin de Porres, St. Anthony de Padua and her relentless love for life itself. She married Eduardo "Eddie" San Pedro on December 24, 1957, and had four children -Dickie, Ching, Bing and Chel. She was later reunited with her biological family -the Sy's - when she was in her 40s. She created a home filled with laughter, stories, and the small, everyday funny moments that become cherished memories for her children and grandchildren.
Connie is now reunited with her husband, Eddie (our Daddy | Papang) and her eldest son, Deoderico "Dickie" (our Kuya), who preceded her in passing. Their reunion brings comfort to those who love her, knowing she is surrounded by the family she held so dear.
She is survived by her children, who were the pride and joy of her life, but also grew up to become her best friends:
Cynthia "Ching" and husband-John, children- Anne, Paul & Austin, Joey & Sarah and grandchildren – Nathan & Liliana
Robert "Bing" and wife- Marlene, children – Michael and Sydney
Cecilia "Chel" and husband – Alvin, children- Alex & Taylor, Adrian, Andrew and Aaron
And daughter-in-law -Merle, and children – Jay & Jean, Ryan & Diana and Edson & Joy and grandchildren- Thea, Miya, Micka, Mina, Mikey, Mira, Sefi, Yohan and Sky.
Family was Connie's greatest treasure. She celebrated every milestone and embraced each new generation with the same tenderness and patience that defined her life. She lived life with a carefree heart—unafraid to be silly, to do funny things, and to find delight in moments big and small. Her days were shaped by spontaneity, humor, and a genuine love for living. She showed us that life is meant to be enjoyed—not rushed, not
worried over, but truly lived.
She shared a cherished bond with her grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews, who adored her for her fun-loving nature. To them, she was not just a grandma "mama" or an auntie "tita" —she was a source of laughter, mischief, and heartfelt love, creating memories that they will forever hold close.
Her memory will forever remind us to laugh a little louder, love a little deeper, and embrace life with the same fearless joy she carried so naturally. She will be deeply missed. The traditions she passed down, and the love she inspired in all who knew her will be lovingly remembered.
May her memory be a blessing and her legacy continue to shine brightly through our family and friends. We love you Mama! You will forever be in our hearts… and to our Daddy and Kuya – "Here comes Mama!"
Funeral services for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 7th at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary, 13243 Poway Road, Poway, CA 92064. She will be laid to rest with her loving husband Eddie at Dearborn Memorial Park. The burial will be a private service.
