Cori Pauline Pasko passed away at her home in San Diego, CA on January 16, 2025 after a very brave fight against cancer.  She was 77 years old.  Cori was born in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Mary Oderkerk on February 2, 1947.

Cori worked as an administrative assistant for the Otay Water District for more than 15 years.  In retirement she was a volunteer at the R.B. Cancer Society and RB Presbyterian Church Resale shops for many years. Cori was an avid walker for over 20 years with the RB Walkers group.  To be missed by many for her smile that could light up a room.

Cori is survived by her sons Michael Buffington of San Diego, CA., and Gary (Sonia Potter) Buffington of Eugene, OR; daughter Diana Pierce of Lakeside, CA; twin sister Fran (Mark) Evans of Poway, CA., sister Diane Smith of Surprise, AZ; grandchildren Garrett, Hannah, Jennifer, Brian and Sarah.  She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2003, grandson Michael Getz in 2010 and sister Joy Mitchell in 2022.
