Danilo Frank Castro was born March 15, 1953 in San Diego, California and passed away on July 26, 2018.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jeannette and Bob Hanson of San Diego, CA.;  brother Damon Castro; sister Debra Peterson and her husband Phil; and stepsister Stephanie Hanson all of San Diego.

Dan,  a graduate of SDSU, was employed by Cubic Corp , and later worked for Logicion, Inc.   Dan was a competitor all his life, even after a stroke in his late forties he lived  life his way.  He kept up on the latest in computer  technology and despite increasing health problems  he lived his life to the fullest.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11am at Maranatha Chapel, 10752 Coastwood Rd, San Diego, CA 92127. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the USO or any other troop supporting organizations.
