Danny Ray Quarisa, 83, passed away at his home in Poway, CA on September 3, 2026. Danny was born on March 13, 1943 in Susanville California to August and Lucia Quarisa. He was the youngest of five children.

While living in Susanville Danny managed Allied Petroleum’s Lassen County operations for 10 plus years. In 1984 Danny and Marcie moved to San Diego where he worked in real estate sales and property inspections until his retirement.

Danny enjoyed camping, fishing and playing golf. After retirement Danny and his wife Marcie spent several years traveling the United States in their motorhome. More recently they spent summers in San Diego and winters in Lake Havasu. He was a master woodworker and belonged to the San Diego Woodworking Association.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marcia Quarisa of Poway, CA; daughters Shelly (Ron) Labarbera of San Diego, CA., Tina (Terry) Kennemore of Janesville, CA., Cindy (Gary) Ellison of Bend, OR; son Randy (Terri) Scales of Poway, CA; Grandchildren Wade, Nevin, Madison, Michael, Brooke, Derek, Chase, Cody, Conor and Nicole; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Primo, Albino, Augustino and sister Amelia.
