Don was born in Lima, Ohio on 10/29/1955 to the late Richard Moore Jr and Donna (Keiffer) Buck.

Don was a 1974 graduate of Elida High School and was a first responder for the Perry Fire Dept. After moving to Michigan to start his own catering business, he joined the Grand Ledge Fire Department and became a huge Sparty fan.. GO GREEN, GO WHITE! He and Mimi, his wife of 10 years, left the cold and snowy Michigan winters and moved to San Diego in 2016.

In addition to wife Mimi, Don is survived by sons Anton and Donnie at home, daughters Alexis Moore and Amanda (Andy) Taliaferro of Michigan and grandsons Zach, Nick and Gianni. To mourn his passing, he also leaves behind sisters Diana (Jeff) Ludwig, Barb (Doug) Omlor, brothers Tim, Steve and Mike, many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, his previous wife Linda (Piehl) McGarry and friends from all over the country. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother Rickie.

Don's wishes are to be cremated. Visitation at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary, in Poway, CA, will be from 11am-12pm on Thursday March 18th, followed by his Zoom online Memorial Service from 12pm-1pm.  Chapel is limited to 25 people, face masks and social distancing are required.
