Eleanora Dina Taylor, 84, passed away on July 26, 2019, in Rancho-Bernardo-San Deigo, CA.

She was born August 21, 1934 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Fred R. and Teresa C. Davoli.  She was the wife of Paul F. Taylor.

She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's Degree in Education and began teaching middle school where she received a National Teacher award.

She was a member of the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church where she sang in the church choir.  She volunteered with NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) for many years, and she worked with an orphanage in Mexico, teaching English and helping with their needs. She enjoyed classical music, theatre and shopping.  She brought many to God.

She is survived by Gottfried, her companion, her dog Angel, 15 nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by Paul Taylor, John (Dorothy), Teresa (Samuel, Frank (Norma), Fred (Jane), Dina, Joseph, Dina and Dante.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, August 15, 2019, 3:00 – 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM, Poway-Bernardo Mortuary Chapel, 13243 Poway Road, Poway, CA 92064.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI.  https://namisandiego.org/
