Ernesto Lazaro Calderon passed away in Poway, CA on June 29, 2021.  He was born February 20, 1936 in Manila, Philippines to Felix and Felipa Calderon.  Ernesto was 85 years old.

He attended some college courses and later worked as a custodian for Kaiser Permanente.  He loved going to the horse races at Del Mar.  Ernesto had a love of music and enjoyed listening to all kinds.  He was a member of the Catholic church.

He is survived by his loving wife Gloria of San Diego, CA.; sons and their wives, Dave (Josephine), Dale (Maria), Dane and Dick (Annie); daughter and son in law Dyna (Miguel) Frando; brother Lou Calderon; sisters Corazon Pabelico and Esmerelda Torres; grandchildren Aubrey, Arianne, Alyssa, Austin, Charlemagne, Chelsea, Dale II, Sylan, Benedict, Margarita, Danzel, Daryll, Dana, Denice, Dane, Devin, Dane Jr. and Demci.

Private family services will be held.
