Feliciano Bautista
Roxas
October 29, 1933 – September 4, 2024
Feliciano ("Fel") B. Roxas, born in the Philippines to Julia Bautista and Bernardino Roxas, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Feliciano was a man of integrity, service, and devotion. He is survived by his beloved wife Erlinda ("Linda") Mulingbayan Roxas, their five children: Bob, Arlene, Gina, Jerry, and Tom, and his cherished grandchildren: TJ, Marissa, Sabrina, Kyle, Ryan, Dani, and Julia. He is also survived by his sister Nelia, along with other dear family members.
Feliciano spent his early years in Batangas, Philippines, before joining the U.S. Navy in 1957, embarking on a distinguished career that took him across the globe. He married the love of his life, Linda, in 1961, and together they built a beautiful family. Despite the challenges of frequent moves, from New Hampshire to Guam, Great Lakes to San Diego, and Hawaii, he remained a steadfast father, present at the birth of all five of his children.
Serving in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, Feliciano achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer (CPO), specializing as an electrician's mate aboard various ships and submarines, including the USS Kitty Hawk, where he saw action in the Vietnam War. His service and dedication earned him immense respect, both for his work ethic and his loyalty to his fellow sailors. After retiring from the Navy in 1979, Feliciano pursued a new career in real estate. He became a licensed broker and opened his own office, Century 21 Capitol Realty, where he worked until his final retirement.
In retirement, Feliciano fulfilled a lifelong dream of returning to the Philippines, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and reconnecting with his roots. He later returned to the U.S. to be closer to his family, spending his final years attending every significant family event, from birthdays to graduations and weddings, ensuring he was there for those he loved most.
Feliciano will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family, his years of military service, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the joy he found in life's simple moments. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
