George Libaton Lagare was born on May 7, 1952 in Cebu, Philippines to Gorgonia Libaton and Eliseo Lagare, Sr. On August 14, 2021, George passed away at 69 years of age.

George immigrated to the United States in 1991 and worked in the manufacturing industry. A lifelong learner and curious spirit, he loved to tinker with gadgets and was always curious about how things worked. George was a loving husband and father who loved to make people laugh and smile. One of his favorite pastimes was taking walks at the lake with his wife. In 2019, he and his wife traveled to Israel where they created lifelong memories of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv together.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Gorgonia and Eliseo, Sr., and brother, Eliseo, Jr.  He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Juanita Lagare, and their daughter, Tiffany Lagare. He is also survived by his sisters, Carmen, Virginia, and Rosalinda; and brothers, Marlon and Oscar.
