Hannah Olivia
Fry
December 7, 2002 – May 31, 2021
Hannah Olivia Fry passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2021 in Escondido, CA. She was born December 7, 2002 in San Diego, CA to Richard and Wendy Fry. She was 18 years old.
Hannah was a senior in high school and worked as a hostess at a local restaurant. Hannah loved to be in the water whether it was swimming in the pool or going to the beach. She started swimming within her first few weeks of life.
She had a ton of friends whom she loved very much. From a very young age, she was a social butterfly - always inviting a friend or two to join her family on trips to the fair, zoo, Universal Studios and on ski trips. She played soccer and volleyball. And she was the light of our lives. She had a very close, special bond with her sister, Haleigh, and always nurtured and protected her.
Hannah had a beautiful smile to go with a beautiful soul. Her smile was infectious and could light up any room. She was funny, outgoing, smart, and kind. She was very artistic and loved the outdoors; hiking often and taking photos of nature like her Grandmother Fry. She also helped call water districts to get information out to the public about the Great Blackout of 2011 - when San Diego lost power - becoming a newsroom star at the early age of 10.
Hannah is survived by her parents Richard Fry of San Diego, CA and mother Wendy Fry of San Diego, California; sister Haleigh Elizabeth Fry of San Diego, CA; grandparents Janet Fry of Vista, CA., Lori A. Meyer of San Diego, CA.; and Ernest W. and Cheryl Ann Meyer of Georgetown, TX.
Viewing will be held from 4 to 8pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary with a funeral service at 1pm, Friday June 11, 2021. Private interment will take place at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:17
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4
