Helen Jo Jacobs, 94, of San Diego, CA passed away March 1, 2024 at 7:05pm. Helen was born September 27, 1929 in Peoria, IL to Steve and Eva (Sepsick) Bennerick. She married John C. Jacobs on June 11, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Harry E. Jacobs, and sister Mary Ann Neely.  She is survived by her children, Victoria L. Lorah of Rancho San Diego, CA, Arthur M. Jacobs of Saint Ann, MO, Nancy J. (John) Hoffman of Poway, CA, and Diane M. (Michael) Thorp of Pasadena, CA, and 7 grandchildren.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, and devoted Catholic. She attended St. Philomena in Peoria, IL and San Rafael in San Diego, CA.

There will be a memorial mass at San Rafael Catholic Church on April 18, 2024 at 11:30am. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to San Rafael Catholic Church.
