Ingeborg "Inge" Lettang, age 93, a longtime resident of California, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Inge was born on July 29, 1932 in Titting, Bavaria, Germany, the daughter of the late Franz and Franziska (nee: Fiegl) Bauer.

Inge was raised and lived in Germany until 1954 when she migrated to the United States with her parents. She started her education at the University of Munich. While raising three sons, she continued her education at UCLA and Cal State University in Fullerton, CA, achieving her Master's Degree in language education in the late 1960s. After getting her three sons started in life she held teaching positions in the Orange County area. She retired at age 74 from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana after a career there of 25 years teaching German. Inge retired to a life of baking, cooking and decorating.

Inge was the beloved wife of 62 years to Franz Lettang, and was the loving mother of Frank, Peter, and Erik Lettang, and wonderful Grandma to seven grandchildren.
