Rev. Jaime Fontanus Galvez Sr.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our father, Rev. Jaime F. Galvez Sr, 94, on January 16, 2024 in San Diego, CA. Jaime lived in Honolulu, Hawaii; Anchorage, Alaska; San Diego, CA and in the Philippines.  He was born in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines on June 18, 1929.

Jaime was a widow, married to Rosa Galvez for 66 yrs before she passed away in January 2016.  Jaime is survived by his 5 children:  Henry (AK), Adrian (HI), Jaime Jr (CA), Marlyn (CA), & Helen (CA), 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, bother Leandro (CA), brother Arturo (PI)  & sister Carmen Estigo (AK).

Rev. Jaime Galvez Sr… faithful servant of God for 55 yrs in the Church of the Nazarene.  He loved his family & everyone, but most of all, he loved God.

Celebration of Life will be held as follows:
2/3/2024:  San Fernando, La Union

3/23/2024:  Radiant Life Church of the Nazarene, Carmel Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA @ 10am.

6/15/2024:  Honolulu First Church of the Nazarene, Honolulu, Hawaii @ 10am.

2025:  Cabaroan Church of the Nazarene, San Fernando LaUnion, Philippines.
Final resting place will be in Binalonan Cemetery, next to wife Rosa & daughter Ruthie Jane.
