Jeanne Marie Underhill, loving mother of Joseph Underhill, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday October 5 ^th 2018 surrounded by her family.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Voyle Myers, her brother Bill Myers, her son Jeffrey, her daughter Amy Durant and her husband Thomas Underhill.

Jeanne was born in Auburn, Indiana where she met the love of her life Tom. They lived in various places in Indiana before moving to Leewood, Kansas in 1973. The family then moved to San Mateo, CA in 1975 before settling into their home of 40 years in Poway, CA. She worked for the Poway Unified School District in Food Service from 1979 – 2012 and volunteered for the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church in various capacities, including the church thrift shop in Poway. She loved golf, doing her daily crossword puzzle, knitting, playing cards and of course spending time with her loving family and friends.

Jeanne is survived by her son Joseph Underhill, son-in-law Stewart Durant, granddaughter Katie Singer and her husband Jeff, grandson Andrew Durant and his fiancé Tania, and her great grandson Antonio Durant Nunez.

Memorial service to be held on Saturday October 13 ^th at 10 am in the chapel at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, 17010 Pomerado Rd, San Diego, CA 92128. Celebration of Life to follow.
