Jessica Marie Marek passed away in San Diego, CA, on October 28, 2020.  She was born a true Scorpio on November 18, 1991, in Laguna Hills, CA, to Mark and Esther Marek.  Jessica was 28 years old.

Jessica loved her family, was passionate about her dog Juno, and had a deep desire to better understand the universal human experience.  Her hobbies were all things spiritual and artistic, including Astrology, music and photography.  She was endlessly curious.  She loved hiking outdoors with Juno by her side, enjoying the beaches of San Diego, and exploring the mountains of Mammoth.  Jessica had a big heart, a great sense of humor, and was always available to help a friend in need.

She is survived by her parents Mark and Esther Marek of San Diego, CA, and sister Niki Marek of Los Angeles, CA.  She was preceded in death by her five-year old brother, Brian, who passed away in 1991.

A viewing will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, November 6th at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary, 13243 Poway Road in Poway.  A graveside service will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 7 at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Road in Lake Forest.  The family welcomes anyone to attend on either of both days, however, we request everyone follow COVID-19 protocols.  Note that, due to COVID, we unfortunately will not have a gathering post graveside service.
