Joan Lilian Cunyus passed away in Carlsbad, CA on July 6, 2019.  She was born November 9, 1936 in England to Ernest & Lilian (Byng) Parnell.  Joan was 82 years old.

She earned a bachelor's degree and worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years.  Joan was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and enjoyed knitting.

Joan is survived by her husband of 45 years, Henry Cunyus of Carlsbad, CA; stepdaughters Pamela (David) Coughlin and Carolyn Rorabacher; brother Richard Parnell and sister Margaret Warrington both of England and grandson Brian.
