John Ramon Carrion passed away at his home in Poway, CA on August 6, 2026. He was born in Texas on October 7, 1952 to Johnny and Elia Carrion. John was 73 years old.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force then earned a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. John worked for many years in hospitality food service as a bartender and also served in management. He enjoyed baseball, both watching and playing the game. Golf was his favorite pastime until he wasn’t physically able to play.

John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah Carrion of Poway, CA; his twin children, son John Gabriel Carrion of San Diego, CA and daughter Kelsey Lynn Carrion of Poway, CA; sisters Katherine Tadeo, Lisa Doyle; brothers Arnold, David Carrion and his mother, Elia Carrion all of Utah.

No formal services are planned. Poway-Bernardo Mortuary is handling his arrangements.
