Jon Gregory Offerman, 51, of Poway, California, passed away on February 8, 2026.  Born November 4, 1974 in Los Angeles, California, Jon lived a life defined by perseverance, devotion and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Jon was the beloved son of Jean Elizabeth Offerman and Harry Edward Offerman Jr., who survive him.  He was a cherished brother to Thomas Edward Offerman and a proud uncle to his nieces, Casey and Isa, and his nephew, Alex.

For more than seven years, Jon shared a deep and loving partnership with his fiancée, Maura Guevara.  He was also a devoted father figure to Gianelle, embracing that role with love, guidance and steadfast support.  Family was at the center of Jon's life.  He worked tirelessly to provide stability, happiness and encouragement to those closest to him.

Jon had a profound love for learning and personal growth.  An avid student who graduated with honors, he excelled both academically and professionally.  He embodied tenacity and discipline, representing the perfect blend of high academic achievement and relentless perseverance.  His wisdom, curiosity and thoughtful perspective made him a source of inspiration to many.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Jon found joy in hiking, attending concerts and following sports.  He appreciated experiences that brought people together and created lasting memories.  Whether on a trail, at a live show or cheering on a favorite team, he embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude.

Jon will be remembered as a devoted family man, a man of integrity and intellect, and someone who continually strived to grow, learn and uplift those around him.  His legacy lives on in the lives he strengthened, the love he gave and the example he set.

A viewing will be held at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 4 to 8pm.  A funeral service will take place at 6pm, officiated by Pastor Timothy Eichler.
