Jordan Jay Silva, 25, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home in Poway, CA. He was born on August 19, 1993 in San Diego, CA to Jay and Shelley Silva.
Loved dearly by his family, those who knew Jordan also knew he was a very kind and gentle soul. He was a compassionate, handsome, considerate, helpful, hardworking, funny, and athletic young man. As a youth, he was involved in organized sports, with basketball and football noted as favorites. This passion continued as an adult, with him often found at the gym competing in pickup basketball games. He took after his father in many ways but was on a path to fulfill his own dreams. Jordan was good natured and was always willing to help others. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a desire to travel and visit new places. He was looking forward to our family cruise to Alaska next year.
Jordan was diagnosed with mycotic juvenile epilepsy at the age of 18, and sadly while resting for the night he was not able to recover from a seizure.
He is survived by his father and mother Jay and Shelley Silva; sister Lindsy (Gerard) Bagalso and their two sons Krew and Reeve; sister Megan (Melvin) Ludacka and their two daughters Eliot and Logan.
