Juanita F. Kear passed away peacefully at her home in Oceanside, CA surrounded by family on April 1, 2023.  Born in Santa Barbara , CA on May 10, 1946 to Fred and Fern Scott, she was 76 years old.

Juanita worked as a lab technician for a contact lens manufacturer for many years.  She spent much of her free time crocheting and doing crafts of all kinds.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Norman "Dick" Kear of Oceanside, CA; sons and daughters-in-law Richard Todd & Ewa Kear of Chula Vista, CA and Michael Paul "Bubba" & Miriam Kear of San Diego, CA; daughter and son-in-law Nicole Leann & Scott Smith of Santee, CA; sisters Judith (Floyd) Dunlap of Santa Maria, CA and Donna Cienfuegos of Lamoore, CA; Grandsons Michael, Gabriel, Alexander, Ignacio, Ayden & Nolan and Great-Grandsons Oliver and Rowan.

A graveside service will take place at 11am, Friday April 7, 2023 at Dearborn Memorial Park, 14361 Tierra Bonita Road in Poway.  A reception will immediately follow.
