The family of Kamolthip (Thip) Gevara is deeply saddened to inform you that Thip passed away on October 12th, 2021.
Thip was the Co-Owner, Manager and Executive Chef of Lai Thai Restaurant in National City. She managed the restaurant for over 18 years. She was exceptionally dedicated and detail oriented and was dearly loved by her customers, employees, and friends.
Thip was a devout Buddhist and meditated daily as well as listening to Buddhist teachings on the internet while she worked around the house. She loved Thailand and her King and she loved to share the beauty of her culture with everyone.
Thip loved to garden and care for growing things. She loved to travel and experience new places. She had a passion for life. She enjoyed her morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening.
Thip was a dedicated wife and mother. Family was her number one priority. Her world revolved around her daughter, Thutchada. She took care of all her family to an exceptional degree and always expressed the deepest love and concern for everyone.
Kamolthip Gevara was an exceptional woman in every way and will be missed more than words can convey.
Kamolthip was preceded in death by her mother, Manthana Paothong, on 05/09/2020. She is survived by: her husband, Eric W. Vito, her daughter, Thutchada Visaijorn, x-husband, Phongsachan Visaijorn, sister, Sumawadee (Nikki) Bubpha, brother, Jitti (Tor) Bubpha, and niece, Natasha Mar.
Final Services will be conducted on Monday, 25 October 2021 beginning at 11:00 am.
