Kimberlie Suzanne Longsworth
March 29, 1984 – September 22, 2026
Kimberlie Suzanne Longsworth, age 42, passed away on September 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on March 29, 1984, Kimberlie, affectionately known as Baby Doll was a lifelong Southern California resident, most recently making her home in Oceanside. She felt called by the beach both as a source of joy and adventure with family and friends, as well as a source of peace and grounding as she took daily walks during her cancer journey.
Kimberlie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Irma Longsworth, maternal grandparents, Allan and Carline Bennett, her father, Robert Longsworth Sr., and her brother, Dwight Longsworth. She is survived by her beloved son, Zion Thaddeus, who was the center of her world; her mother, Florence Longsworth; her siblings, Karen Camille (Shannon), Robert Jr. (Jackie), Aaron (Ashley), and (Samantha – widow of Dwight); her nieces & nephews: Kingsley Saul, Cassidy Longsworth, Lenora Wills, Christopher Longsworth, Daniella Longsworth, Raya Longsworth, Alayna Wills, Malachi Longsworth, Jesse-Allan Wills, and Azariah Longsworth, as well as extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love.
Kimberlie graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, class of 2002. She was a student athlete, participating on the basketball and track and field teams.
A cosmetologist by trade, Kimberlie carried that same creativity and confidence into her own life. She lived her life with an adventurous spirit and a contagious energy - wherever Kimberlie went, she became the life of the party! Known for her bold style, radiant smile, contagious laugh, and ever-present sunglasses - her presence and laughter could light up any room.
Kimberlie loved adventure and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. She and Zion shared countless experiences together, traveling near and far, including many cherished trips to Belize, where she deepened connections with aunts, uncles, and extended family. Whether exploring a new place or enjoying a simple day together, Kimberlie believed life was meant to be experienced fully and joyfully.
Above all else, she was a fiercely devoted mother. Zion was her greatest pride and deepest love. She sought every opportunity to fill his life with happiness, discovery, and treasured memories that will remain with him forever. Kimberlie was also the biggest fan of her nieces and nephews. She celebrated their achievements, encouraged their dreams, and built meaningful one-on-one relationships with each of them. The memories she created for all the young lives she touched and the confidence she instilled will stay with them throughout their lives.
Even in her final days, Kimberlie's spirit remained unbroken. Just a week before her passing, while under the care of UC San Diego Medical Center, she joined her family outside on the hospital lawn; with her IV pump beside her, she slipped off her shoes, felt the grass beneath her toes, stood in a circle with those she loved, and enjoyed an impromptu dance party. It was a beautiful reflection of who she was: someone who chose joy, connection, and living fully, no matter the circumstances.
The void left by Kimberlie's passing will be felt differently by all who knew and loved her. Yet in every life she touched, she leaves an enduring mark. As family and friends move forward without her physical presence, they carry with them her laughter, her smile, her courage, her zest for life, and the fierce love she shared so freely. May those memories continue to guide and inspire those fortunate enough to have been part of her journey. PERIODDD!
