Kimberly Lisa Hassan passed away July 10, 2021 at her home in San Diego, California.  Kimberly was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Charles and Louhelen Hassan on June 9, 1967.

Kimberly worked in the medical field for more than 20 years.  She helped provide the clerical support that smoothed the path to prompt, effective medical care.  She was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching all of the teams: Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.  She enjoyed traveling to various cities to root for her teams.  Her interests also included international travel.  Kimberly was an avid movie buff with eclectic tastes and at times belonged to several film groups.  She was a fan of "I've Pet That Dog" Twitter page.

Surviving members of Kimberly's family included her mother, Louhelen of San Diego, California; sister Valerie Hassan of Escondido, California; and a number of relatives throughout the United States.  She was preceded in death by her father Charles in 1998.

A private family service will be held at Dearborn Memorial Park, 14361 Tierra Bonita Road - Poway, CA 92064.
