Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, and may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

Larry was a good son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, a retired Air Force Master Sargeant.  Larry will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, his great sense of humor, and the love and devotion he had for his family.  He was very much loved and will always be lovingly remembered.

Larry is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Martha Madero Bascon of San Diego, CA; Scott and Lisa Bascon of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Alexa, Maya and Ian; great-grandchildren Giovanna, Maximus, Philomena, Ingrid, Anastasia, Tobias, Chiara, Natalia, Vladimir, Asher, and Leo.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 2010 and son Larry in 2007.

A eulogy will be shared at 11:15am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am, Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 15546 Pomerado Road in Poway, CA.  Inurnment will take place at later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
