Lori Farwell Lancia passed away unexpectedly at her home in San Diego, CA on June 13, 2019, after a long battle with alcoholism. She was 48 years old. Lori was born November 14, 1970, in Torrance, CA, to Peter and Virginia Farwell. She grew up in Acton, Massachusetts, and attended Acton-Boxboro Regional High School, graduating in 1988. Lori attended the University of Vermont where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1992.

Lori worked as a consultant for various brokerage firms in the Boston, MA area, before relocating to San Diego, CA. She had a love of animals, especially her family pets, and volunteered her time at local animal shelters. She spent time living abroad in Switzerland and Australia.

Lori was very warm and personable; she liked people, and people liked her. Lori was a helper, always assisting others in need. Lori was a member at the North City Presbyterian Church. She attended AA meetings with the hopes of staying healthy.

Lori is survived by her parents, Peter and Virginia Farwell of Mashpee, MA; daughter, Ava Lancia of La Jolla, CA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Terry and Scott Worthington of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and Kimberly and Ryan Kane of Pembroke, MA; nephews, Owen, Benjamin, Cooper, and niece, Lyla.

Private services will be held for the immediate family.
