Margaret Kenyon Patton, or as her friends and family knew her "Maggie", passed away on 10/2/2020.  She was born 5/12/25 in Sacramento CA.  She attended UC Berkeley.  While on a trip to visit her brother, Gene, at the Naval Academy she was set up as a blind date with Gene's roommate, William C (Bill) Patton.  After a long distance romance they married in 1947.  Their union produced 4 children; William K (Chip) Patton, Margaret M (Peggy) Patton, Susan P Sebert, and Anne P Baugh, six grand children, and so far seven great grandchildren.

As a Marine Corps wife she and family moved frequently.   She made a home in Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Trinidad, WI, Oklahoma and California.  While Bill was overseas in Korea, Japan and Viet Nam she kept the family running smoothly.   When Bill retired  they made their home in El Cajon, CA.  During their time in El Cajon they were active playing tennis and golf.  They played bridge and did square dancing.  Maggie was active in the volunteer program at Grossmont Hospital for over 30 years. Her quiet strength will be missed by all.
