Marilyn Claybrooks-Wells passed away in San Diego, CA on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  Born in Mansfield, Ohio to Henry & Essie May Claybrooks on August 9, 1948, she was 75 years old.

Marilyn graduated from Malabar High School in Mansfield, OH.  She went on to work as a computer equipment inspector for more than 40 years.

After retirement, Marilyn enjoyed her time relaxing with music and watching movies.  To keep active, she liked to work at the Goodwill store around the holiday time.  She was glad to have a little extra spending money to treat her grandkids.

Marilyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles & Chiya Claybrooks of San Diego, CA; brothers William (Ruth) Claybrooks of CA and Charles (Karlotta) Claybrooks of Ohio; six grandchildren, Terrell, Isaiah, Tyson, Aria, Chalen & Chiyan; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband James in 2011, her brother Freddy and sister Viola.

A committal service will take place at 2:30pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive San Diego, CA 92122.
