Marjorie May Ball went up to be with her Lord and Savior on January 4th, 2021, surrounded by her daughter Marjorie June.
Born to Clifford E. Plummer and Ena Bell Plummer (Cowles) of Modesto, California on May 11th, 1925. She graduated from Modesto Senior High School in 1944. She married her husband Myron Keith Ball of Modesto on January 4, 1944. They had two children, Jacqueline Lee Williams(Ball) and Marjorie June Ball.
Marge and Myron raised their family up in beautiful Grants Pass, Oregon, where she held a few positions in the community as the head attendance secretary at the Grants Pass High School and then Secretary of the M.K. Advertising agency.
Once their daughters had graduated and moved to a more southerly climate, they moved down to Orange County, California and settled in the community of Mission Viejo.
Marge took her experience from Grants Pass High School and applied it to a local community college and upon her retirement, was the Secretarial Administrator for Orange Coast Community College District.
Marge as she was known to her friends, was very active in multiple organizations. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and was very active with the Philanthropic Educational Organization, or P.E.O.
Marge continued to do what she loved to do after her retirement: Travel. Along with her daughter Margy, she went all over the world and took her last long trip in 2016 to Wisconsin.
Marjorie May is survived by her youngest daughter, Marjorie June Ball, two of her three Grandchildren, Edward Myron Williams, of Wisconsin and Deanna Marjorie Martin (Williams) of San Diego. She also leaves behind 8 great grand children and 2 great great grand children.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her younger brother Clifford Plummer Jr., her Husband Myron Keith Ball, her oldest Daughter Jacqueline Lee Williams and one of her Grandsons, Matthew David Williams.
