Marc (Mark) Anthony Verduzco, 80, of San Diego passed away on Friday September 18, 2026. Marc was born July 9, 1946 to Carlos and Grace Verduzco in San Diego. He is survived by his children Kristen Fore (Scott), Matthew Verduzco (Jenny) and Sarah Verduzco, his siblings Carlos, Edward, Debbie and Mary and his grandchildren Temperance, Parker Fore and Sophia, Abigail Verduzco. He was preceded in death by his wife Monica and his parents. 

Marc was part of the first graduating class at Morse High School in 1964 where he played football, wrestled, and was in theater. Marc dedicated his time to youth sports and was a coach for South Bay Pop Warner as well as a little league umpire for many years. Marc proudly served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne, 1st Cavalry division and went to Vietnam in 1965. After serving in the army Marc attended Southwestern College where he met Monica Quinn and found his passion for theater and acting. Marc began his career in Hollywood in 1977 after being part of the movie Dogs (1976) that was shot on location at Southwestern. Although he did not end up in acting, he worked behind the scenes as a Property Master for his entire 33-year career. Marc was a master storyteller, loved facts, trivia, history, reading and above all loved his kids and grandkids.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Gary Sinise Foundation in Marc’s (Mark’s) name.
