Nenita Gomez Mon passed away at her home in San Diego, CA on July 4, 2021.  She was born in the Philippines to Santiago & Aleja Gomez on July 24, 1932.  Nenita was 88 years old.

She spent more than 40 years as an elementary teacher in the Philippines before coming to the United States.  She enjoyed going to the Senior Center, playing cards and Mahjong.

Nenita is survived by her children Nelsie, Nida, Neire, Noly, Norla and Nanet; many grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Susante in January 1999.

A viewing will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 4 to 8pm at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary.  Inurnment will take place at a later date at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway.
