Nina Louise Duncan, 94, passed away on July 3, 2026 at her home. She was the widow of Carl Duncan. They shared 23 years of marriage together.
Born in Bremerton, Washington. She was the daughter of Jesse B. McFarland and Ella Gertrude Childs. She graduated from Bremerton College and was a Technical Engineer with Boeing, Solar, Turbomach Industry, Caterpillar, Sunstrand and United Technology for many years.
She was a member of many organizations. To name a few: American Red Cross, CERT, SVP with Poway Sheriffs for almost 20 years, and was on the SD Splash Senior Basketball team. She loved to do gardening, farming, travel, gambling, javelin, shot put and camping. She will be remembered for her kind, loving, generous and strong personality.
She is survived by her son David Pethybridge, daughter in law, Francesca Walker and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Larry Walker and husband Carl Duncan.
