Obituary
O'Neal L. Graham, was born to the late O.B Smith and Vera B. Graham (Kelly) on April 21, 1941 in Homer, Louisiana. He was raised by his grandfather, the Reverend Wesley Graham. O'Neal served his country faithfully in the United States Navy for twenty-three years. His highly decorated military career took him to many exciting destinations throughout the country and world, including Cuba, Guantanamo Bay, Australia, Puerto Rico and Hawaii to name a few. A great memory was when GT was able to take his sons on a tiger cruise to Hawaii. He started his Navy career on the Luiseno ship as an aviation machinist mechanic, where he earned several medals of honor during his tour of duty. Once on land, he worked in Washington DC for the Pentagon, then moving back to San Diego in 1976 and continued to serve on various deployments. In 1982 he was transferred to El Centro where he worked as a Yeoman 1st class for the VA 174 Squadron known as 'The Desert Rats' who also worked for the Blue Angels. GT retired in 1985 after a long and impressive military career where he earned many accommodations and medals including: Four Good Conduct Medals, Navy Achievement Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal.
GT was a life long fan of the Oakland Raiders. Mom and Dad fostered more than 100 children in their Foster Parent role and was recognized from the State of California after 35 years of service. He and his devoted wife Ruth celebrated a beautiful marriage of 56 years along with their 6 loving children.
O'Neal (G.T./ Graham) will always be loved, remembered and cherished by his family and friends.

Siblings Ruth Smith Render, Robert Walker, Gene Kelly, Zeb Kelly, Mary Mims
and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by, Uncle Joe, Aunt Geneva, Aunt Vonnie, Aunt May, Aunt Brenda.
