It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Recame, 75, of San Diego, California. Patricia was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother and dear friend to many. Patricia passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2023.

Patricia was born on March 15, 1947 to Joseph and Mary Haggerty in Brooklyn, New York. She attended W Tresper Clark High School in 1965 and shortly after married her high school sweetheart, Maurice Recame. They were married in 1967 and then Maurice went into the navy while Patricia attended college at St. John's before pursuing her dream of working in the field of law as a paralegal.  They eventually went on to have two daughters, April and Sommer.

Patricia had many interests, one of which included politics. After Patricia retired from her career as a paralegal, she spent her time engaging with local political issues as well as being a grandmother.

Patricia was predeceased by her mother Mary, her father Joseph and her brother Joseph. She is survived by her husband Maurice, sisters Ellen and Mary, brothers Greg and Kevin, daughters April and Sommer and her five grandchildren Steven, Enzo, Alexa, Matteo and Michael.

There will be a viewing at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary in Poway, California on Thursday, March 9th from 4pm to 8pm. Services will be held at Poway-Bernardo on March 10, 2023 at 10am with a graveside service at Dearborn Memorial Park following. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, which will be held at 13054 Avenida Grande, San Diego, CA 92129 on Friday, March 10th after the memorial service.
