Phillips Austin Robinson II, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to so many passed away March 19th at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California.

Phil was born February 15, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Phil is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon, son Phillips Jonathan Robinson, brother Paul Robinson, sister-in-law Robin Robinson, niece Corridan Coss, great niece Rylie, great nephews Chance and Toby and numerous cousins.

Phil graduated from Poway High School as Senior Class President in 1967 and served in the Army after attending Palomar College.  Following honorable discharge, he created a career in marketing and sales for insurance, banking, and agricultural supplies that spanned 45 years before retiring.  Phil was a long-time golfer and found a "second home" at Bernardo Heights Country Club in San Diego.  His passion for golf, travel, community involvement and more golf enhanced his retirement years.  Phil had a personality that filled a room and a loving, generous heart that endeared him to everyone he encountered.  He will be missed by all who knew him and even more so by those who loved him.

Interment of ashes will be held May 4th at Miramar National Cemetery at 1:30pm.  A private celebration of life will be held at Bernardo Heights Country Club immediately following the service.
