Phyllis J. Reeg, 94, of Poway, California, died Saturday, September 21, 2019, after a long but courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.  Phyllis worked at Grossmont Hospital for over 20 years before retiring in 1990.  Phyllis will be remembered by her two sons, James Reeg (Susan) and Thomas Reeg (Sharon), and daughter Cheryl Danzl (Robert).  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jamie Loosbrock (Corey), Matthew Reeg, Lindsay Nolte (Matthew), Brian Danzl (Victoria), Bret Danzl, Cambria Danzl, and Tessa Reeg; nine great-grandchildren, Trent and Corinne Loosbrock, Laila and Ashlyn Reeg, Luke, Lance and Ladd Nolte, Ty and Dakota Danzl.  In addition, she is survived by one brother, Russell D. Cripe (Judy) of Elkhart, Indiana and one sister, Carol J. Miller, of Buena Park and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Reeg and one sister, Judie A. Asay.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at San Rafael Catholic Church, 17252 Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92128, with Msgr. Dennis Mikulanis as celebrant.  Interment will follow at a later date at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery.  Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Phyllis to Alzheimer's San Diego.
