R E Collins passed away in Escondido, CA on January 13, 2026. He was one of eight children born to Rossie and Oma Mae Collins. R E was born August 7, 1935 in Sterling, Oklahoma. He was 90 years old.

After being retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, R E worked at Bendix, White Sands Missile Range and retired after 31 years at NCR/AT&T.  He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America and volunteered with AARP Driver Safety program for more than 15 years.

R E is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charolotte Collins of Poway, CA; daughter Brenda Sue Collins of Benton, AR; sons Mike (Bernadette) Collins of Springdale, AR and Greg Collins of Poway, CA; granddaughters Alicia Miller and Mariana Karnesky and great-grandchildren Rozie and Roland. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings and great-grandson Willie.

Interment will take place a Combs Cemetery in Combs, Arkansas.
