Robert Dennis Kraft Jr. passed away in San Diego, CA on September 27, 2020.  He was born January 8, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Anita Kraft.  He was 58 years old.

Robert enjoyed learning about different cultures and experiencing their diversities. He especially held an appreciation of the Japanese culture and began a bonzai garden in the mid 2000s.  His biggest passion was playing the guitar.  He spent more than 25 years in music education as a guitar instructor. Truly, he enjoyed spreading his passion for musical art and encouraging that skill within others.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Phoebe Kraft of San Diego, CA.; daughter Sara P. Kraft and son Robert D. Kraft III both of San Diego, CA.; mother Anita Kraft of San Diego, CA and sisters Robin (Chris) Bennett of Wichita, KS and Rebecca Jerkins (Kevin Bundy) of Temecula, CA.  He will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 4 to 8pm with a funeral service at 7pm.
