Renae Louise Montgomery

Renae Louise Montgomery passed away in Escondido, CA on April 28, 2026. Born in Flint, Michigan on October 10, 1963 to Carl and Sarah Eaton, she was 62 years old.

After relocating to southern California, Renae graduated from Orange Glen High School in Escondido. For many years Renae worked in transportation driving a semi-truck. She most recently was employed by the Poway Unified School District as a school bus driver, where she was blessed to make many friends. She spent much of her time as a caretaker for her mother.

Outgoing, with a great sense of humor, Renae loved a good party and interacting with different people. She especially adored her roommates Diana and Derek and her cat Shadow. Renae attended Emmanuel Faith Community Church and enjoyed playing Bunco and the friendships they brought.

Renae is survived by her mother Sarah Eaton of Escondido, CA; sisters Ellen Nugent of San Diego, CA and Kim Eaton of Valley Center, CA; nieces Britney Eaton and Lindsey Hawkins; nephew Daniel Eaton and many relatives in Canada. She was preceded in death by her father Carl and brother David

A memorial service will be held at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 5pm.
