Robert Nephi Baird, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, son of John Robert Baird and Leah Pauline Morris, passed away on June 13, 2024 in San Diego, California at the age of 78.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 14211 Twin Peaks Road, Poway CA 92064 at 10:30 am. Following the funeral services a gravesite and burial service will be held at the Dearborn Memorial Park located at 14361 Tierra Bonita Rd. Poway CA 92064.

Robert, a long time resident of Poway California is survived by his eternal companion, Eileen Lenore McNaughton, his four boys, David Christopher Baird, Michael Bryan Baird, John Robert Baird and Paul Stewart Baird along with his 15 grandchildren.

Robert will be remembered for his love and service to Jesus Christ, his devotion to family, loyalty to friends and exceptional work ethic. Robert loved Brigham Young University, the Choir on Temple Square, reading, spending time in the mountains, going on walks, serving others, fine food, and working with his sons.
