Roland Joseph Rioux, 78, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Poway, California.  Born in Lewiston, Maine, Roland was the beloved son of Robert Rioux and Louise Blais.

Roland was devoted husband to Mary Rioux (Salamanca), sharing a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.  He was known for his kindness, love of animals and generous spirit ~ qualities that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving sister Gertrude Rioux of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and his brother George Rioux of Derby, Connecticut.  Roland's warmth, compassion and steady presence will be remembered fondly by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 2nd with family and friends.
